Recently I saw someone post a graphic like this (not sure what this format is called), but with the daily AQI for a location (like Pittsburgh) over the years, showing how it has improved on average year-over-year. Do you know where that maybe came from or where I can find it? Curious to see it again
even 2 hours ago you could at least *kinda* see the skyline from this webcam. now you basically can't
PSA: these work pretty well, take like 20 minutes to build, and cost like $50-60 in materials ($20 less if you already have a box fan.)

there's even more baby doves now omg... the nest on our back porch has to have churned out at least like 6 new mourning doves this year. they're sooooo cute
also when you're not in the middle of a forest the "golden hours" really are magical, these are some of the best photos i've gotten of any bird ever. mockingbirds are so cool too <3
there was a snowy egret (super rare around here!!) hanging out with a great egret at north park yesterday... so cool to see them right next to each other 🪶

i think it's fucked up that only like 1% of bird furries are non-corvid passerines. it's not fair. there are SO many more passerines than any other type of bird and only like 2% of those are corvids... yet almost every bird furry is a raptor or a duck or a corvid. smh my damn head
