Great write up Andy but I have to take exception to this part of it. I’ve been in Berlin 13 years, I’m a Köpenick resident, union member & have 2 union crazy kids. But they’re no “Berlin st Pauli”.Love the club & most fans but I’ve seen the clear dark side of some of the support up close & personal

Union Berlin had their 60th birthday yesterday and they’ve released a special kit (because, why not). To say Adidas have put in minimal effort is to give too much credit. Absolutely shocking, and yours for only €100! Reminder that even clubs with a rep for being less commercial, love to rip off fans
This stuff tickles me. Goes with the whole “we don’t sack mangers”. There is no DNA, they just had arguably the best manager in the history of British football for 20+ years. Then they didn’t and are shown to be like all other clubs.
