Long time ago! They are ready to fledge. Just hours away. Getting up to the top of the nesting box and looking out the hole. One died while I was at Kelly’s Island/ Port Clinton over the weekend. Had to remove it when I got home. Ugh! There’s 4 left.

Looks awesome! I have one sort of like that. It has a hinged roof for flipping up to fill. It has suet holders on each end for my woodpeckers. The birds can empty it out in one day. At the most 1-1/2 days. Like the one below:

@brgjr88.bsky.social Blaze had surgery today to pull the tooth he cracked on a bone. Also got his teeth cleaned. I am off this week and wanted to be home with him so I can give him his pills on schedule. I am glad to get it out for him as I think it was starting to bother him. My poor baby.
@brgjr88.bsky.social I have this mealworm feeder for my bluebirds. The top slides up for cleaning and adding food. I am changing it to a hinged roof instead so the part facing me will flip up. What would be the best flexible sealant to use on the hinge line?
