I know you're talking biscuits tonight but... I've really been into pie baking lately. Tried baking a Kentucky transparent pie for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Then last Saturday I baked a derby pie and chocolate chip cookie pie.
I just paid $4.79 a gallon in Cincinnati. I was cursing trump the whole time my gas tank was filling.
Since I retired my wardrobe consists of what I call my "day pajamas" which I wear from morning until late afternoon and my "night pajamas" which I wear from early evening on. I'm kind of jealous of my cat who gets to wear her fur pajamas around the clock.
Pretty nippy in Cincinnati too though we're 14 degrees warmer than Vermont. I hope no one loses power when the snow hits! 🥶
This is the BS response I received from Ohio Senator Husted after I contacted him with my concerns about the murder of Renee Good. He's clearly sticking with the claim that Jonathan Ross was injured and that his life was in danger during the encounter. I'm sick of being gaslighted by these clowns.

We just got back from voting. We voted for every Democrat on the ballot and threw the Republican endorcement paperwork in the garbage before we went in the building. It feels so good to exercise the right to vote. Why on Earth would anyone vote for candidates who work to take our choices away?

Today would be my father's 109th birthday. Richard Cornelius enlisted in the Army and fought against fascism during WWII. He would be appalled at what is happening in America today. I miss him very much but am glad he is not here to witness the destruction of the democracy he fought to preserve.

My neighbor had this old mattress in their front yard at the beginning of summer. I got so tired of looking at it that I reported them to our local government. The neighbor then moved it to the back of their house around the 4th of July. Now it's on display again for the Labor Day holiday. Geez.
They're beautiful. My cats have helped me get through many low points the last few years.
