Well I set a challenge to identify this location, never thinking anyone would get it, but unbelievably @lynnfraserphoto.bsky.social did! 👏👏 the answer was - under the A832 road by Loch Maree!

Pearls. I was on the “Reaper”, a Fifie Sailing Herring Drifter, usually moored at the Scottish Fisheries Museum in Anstruther. But she was up in Portsoy for the Boat Festival and I took the chance to have a look round. I discovered these are called pearls, more info in alt text. #photographers

On the Strand to Oronsay. When the tide is out you can wade over to this interesting little island. At first you’re a bit wary of the soft sand below your feet, but it’s reassuring when you’re overtaken by the postie in his van! #photography #landscapephotography #photographers
