A London Fog + candles + other curious things

I looked down at the smoking area below the parking deck and saw this bench. The way the ash stain dithers outwards from thousands of people coming and going to smoke.

Surrounding the bench, the ground is stained black with cigarette ash, dithering out in all directions from hundreds of thousands of smokers walking off in different directions over the course of who know’s how many decades.
