I got a tariff refund on my accordion, came a couple of days ago! Not a refund for everything (extra charges for holding the item in customs, etc.), but a solid chunk. Woohoo!

an e-mail from DHL saying that under the Supreme Court's IEEPA ruling invalidating the Trump administration's tariffs, I have been awarded a refund, which DHL has provided.

Solid reply from the photographer on the Vanity Fair piece: Stephen Miller notes that Anderson has the power to be kind in his photographic choices, and Anderson replies, "you know, you do, too."

Packing for a six-day bikepacking trip with my pal Micaela. Most of this will go onto the bike (which is currently in the cardboard box). San Juan Islands, here we come!

Many items laid out for packing: sleeping bag, sleeping pad, towel, dishes for cooking and eating, bike helmet, sandals, bike shoes, various clothes, binoculars (for whale watching!), camp pillow, headlamp—just a lot of stuff! Cardboard box in the background, which has the bike inside it.

Some pals host an annual Peeps diorama contest at Easter. Some highlights from this year: Dodgers beat the Yankees in the bottom of the ninth, Taylor Swift Eras tour with duck audience, and Peeps clown carnage.
