I'm not going months between opening the app. I use it a couple of times a week. I should be able to chat with a friend while it downloads its update in the background. Not everyone is on broadband all of the time. They should try using their own app from the @amtrak.com WiFi once in a while.

This is my cover art for the upcoming Pilotless Drone album. Feedback welcome! The map is an area we (band members) used to live and perform, though I heavily edited it in Photoshop. I've stuck with the overlapped letters "p" and "d" for the past three albums, so they're prominent again.

Built ani in-browser site search for a few of my OSS projects this afternoon. Didn't want to pay someone to host this because the amount of data is small, so I just opted to create an index when building the site and lazy-load it on demand. Dunno how much it will get used but I like the UX.
I had no idea react-resizable-panels was used by so many other projects. What a neat little feature.

Chrome's recently-added "open in split view" context menu option irks me. Seems crazy to just change something that conflicts with such a long-established muscle memory action. Brave's decision to move it lower in the list is so much better. github.com/brave/brave-...
I'm helping my nephew (who lives in Virginia) search for a laptop, and I ended up on Walmart's website and saw this bizarre modal. What do cookies have to do with health information when in the context of a retail site like Walmart? Unless maybe I was purchasing medicine... but still
