Stopped by the local Thai grocery store and picked up some duck laab, curry and Jeow bong from their deli
The wife went all-out for Sunday lunch, including making sesame paste from scratch (roasting and then grinding raw sesame seeds)
Where we were there weren’t a lot of pedestrian-only sidewalks and we ended up walking on the street (with cars and scooters) a bunch. Most drivers seemed pretty careful but I wouldn’t say they went out of their way to yield to pedestrians. Most people seemed to get around on scooters.
We ate a lot of variations of these melons, which have an edible skin and edible seeds. They remind me a bit of the yellow Korean melons we get at Asian grocery stores in the U.S.
Those giant “seedless” mangos you see in those videos are real and they are amazing. We had one about the size of my kid’s head with a seed only about 1/4” thick
/stares directly at the camera “I am the exact same kind of communist as Xi Jinping”
I new it was going to be a slippery slope when we went from “millionaire and billionaires and corporations” to “billionaires and corporations” to whatever is happening with this now
Graham Platner doesn’t believe in things like “banning assault weapons” because he understands that sometimes a person wants to have access to those kinds of weapons to hunt other people for sport/adventure
