had to take a trip thru math hell to finally find out how I'll do the same tick-by-tick tracker style groove in Renoise thru bpm tracker commands! been doing this for a while but now I got the formula; 0.5 * bpm / groove. tested by seeing Dn-Fami columns line up w Renoise Dexed beeps and boops

"groove is often measured in percent
50% is straight time, 67% is triplets, 75% is dotted qtr and eighth
percent is first half of beat (numerator) over full beat (denominator)

adjusting swing w bpm; one bpm for 1st half, one bpm for 2nd
adjusting swing w ticks; alternating f06 and f03 rows is triplets

so 1st half of beat being half bpm of 2nd half of beat is triplets; 67%
and 1st half at 1/3 bpm of 2nd is dotted qtr and eighth; 75%

make triplet swing at 150bpm
need to know what bpm for each row or chunk of rows
it can't be the avg of the bpm sums over two
one row at 10bpm and one at 290bpm would be slow
gets slower as it would try to move from 50% time

tested on renoise; 100bpm then 200bpm is perfect triplet
but the tempo is slower than 150bpm!

the fast bar has less of a pull on the final tempo
100bpm bar with near-infinitely fast bar will never break 200bpm"
