Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026) I generally make exceptions for the Spider-Man movies in the post-Endgame MCU. They’re worth it, and this movie proves it. Worth the 2 and 1/2 hours, and I’m also very glad I didn’t have to do any homework by watching the shows or other movies. Such fun.

Absolute Monarchs by John Julius Norwich A pretty in depth look into the history of the papacy. Entertaining throughout, if you’re interested in any of the subject matter. Norwich has a nice sense of dry humor throughout the book, but it doesn’t take over as much as I would’ve liked it to.

Tomodachi Life (3DS) Ahh it’s been ten years since I last played this and it’s still such a fun time. I appreciate it much more now I think.

Avatar: Aang The Last Airbender (2026) Such a fun time, genuinely baffled that this didn’t get a theatrical release. The animation is on point and my faves are back. Fuck you Paramount, among other things, for screwing over this franchise once again.

The Odyssey (2026) That sure is an Epic right there. Christopher Nolan certainly knows how to make a three hour long movie worth seeing. What a cast too, Zendaya was genuinely excellent in what little time she had in it.

When Trumpets Fade (1998) A good movie. Really drums home the fact that even in the most just wars there’s unimaginable and needless carnage. Anyway the actual offensive into the Hürtgen Forest was a needless act in futility and probably only prolonged the war, this film shows all that.

Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 Spoiler alert: Mario isn’t in this one. Wario sure as hell is though. A good time, power ups are fun, but in certain areas the wrong power up will impede your progress especially on certain jumps at the end of the game. Play it.

Supergirl (2026) It was fun! Kinda cute too. Would recommend it. I like what little I’ve personally seen of the DC Space stuff. I wouldn’t mind a sequel at all.

Return of the Jedi (1983) My second favorite Star Wars movie. Totally holds up, especially the Luke and Vader scenes. Insane how people didn’t really like this one when it came out. Fans are the same I guess!

Israel is the one that needs to be disarmed.

The History Channel: Civil War- A Nation Divided. (PS2) One of the very few FPS that deal with the American Civil War, it’s unique in that sense. It’s okay, the missions are basic, there’s no real music. The big draw for me was the mid 19th century guns; If in historically inaccurate placements.

Disclosure Day (2026) Enjoyed it! Kind of a small scale movie if that explains anything. Don’t expect a large globe spanning adventure, but expect to be genuinely entertained.

Sim City 2000 Ahh one of my big childhood games. Got me into the city builder genre. As good as I remember it, if a bit archaic compared to its modern counterparts.

007 Quantum of Solace (PS2) 70% of the game is Casino Royale. The character models aside from Daniel Craig and Eva Green aren’t good and look goofy. It’s a serviceable cover shooter, different from its big brother on PS3. Wish the shooting were more precise. The enemy AI is annoyingly predictive.

Tetris (NES) It’s Tetris! Easy to learn and then immediately kinda difficult. Great puzzle game even today. A wonder of Soviet game design.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu (2026) Was going into this movie skeptical, but it got to me as soon as the Lucasfilm logo showed up on screen. It’s a Star Wars movie! Lots of fun action and set pieces, practical effects galore, and I still love that damn puppet. He’s baby.

Medal of Honor: European Assault The weakest of the big three Medal of Honor games to come out on the PS2. The story is your basic bog-standard German superweapon macguffin plot. All the enemies that I encountered were low poly and the game ran like doodoo. But the score and shooting were good. Meh

Holmes and Watson (2018) I found it slightly amusing. Not a particularly good movie but I did get a few chuckles out of it. This is one of those movies that feels out of its time, like if it came out 20 years ago, people would’ve liked it.

Medal of Honor: Rising Sun After some quick adjustments regarding controls, I got right into it. A great time as far as I remember it being. Lots of little secrets here and there to find while you’re doing your part to end the Japanese Empire. They don’t make WWII games like this anymore.

The Empire Strikes Back (1980) My favorite movie bar none. Probably a movie that I could watch over and over and never get tired of it.

Maul: Shadow Lord (Part 5) Predictable? Yes. Awesome? Yes. I thought this finale was pretty damn good. Everything built up nicely and opened the door to a second season, of which I will be watching.

Star Wars (1977) Couldn’t help but smile throughout the movie. This movie is truly something magical. Sometimes I forget that when I see the franchise as a whole.

Maul: Shadow Lord (Part 4) Things are coming down to the wire, the hunt is heating up. Good to see a little bit of a self-reflective and sympathetic side of Maul.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (2026) Had the theatre to myself to see this. Lots of fun, still don’t know why they casted Donald Glover as Yoshi when he had like three lines. Luigi got more screen time which was great. Really enjoyed all the other Nintendo stuff in the movie too.

Maul: Shadow Lord (Part 3) Things are getting spicy, this part was filled with great choreography. Love the early Empire era and its half-way Prequel/OT aesthetics.

Rome (Season 2) So much happened in ten episodes, they felt much longer. All in all, had a good time with this season. Rome needed like 5 more seasons to flesh everything out and not condense 40 years worth of events into like, 20 hours. Absolute recommend if into period dramas.

Smiling Friends: The Last Two Episodes Gonna miss this show. A bit unremarkable but still very silly. Good to end on a high note, rather than taking the Rick and Morty route and languishing.
