After the July 29 M8.8 #KamchatkaQuake, @cageosurvey.bsky.social scientists documented #tsunami impacts at Dana Point. Orange County Sheriff Harbor Patrol reported surges up to 10–12 mph rushing in/out, damaging a bait barge & challenging vessels in the harbor. Data helps refine CA hazard #maps.
