Somehow I forgot to upload this...the package arrived weeks ago and I forgot. 💀 @anijel.bsky.social's Harekr (kneeling) and Asta (standing), characters from her project 'Embers of the Aesir' (now in colour!) The trees were taken from an interesting bit in the first chapter and turned out very nice.

Happy birthday @portaltohades.bsky.social! 🎂 Very glad you're able to be home today and relax after everything. Caleb, from Hades' webcomic 'Tyree'. Hades' art has such lush backgrounds I wanted to emulate that, and it had to be green. Green is THE dominant colour of Tyree as far as I'm concerned.

I made cinnamon rolls for a work thing tomorrow. Waiting for them to cool before I add the cream cheese icing and the smell is wonderful…but alas…I can’t tear into them yet 😭

what was your first drawing tablet? A Wacom Bamboo tablet, the small kind. I got it around 2008-09? Before then I'd coloured using a mouse and the brush on low opacity to mimic pen pressure. This was a game changer for me, but it took time to get used to drawing digitally and not only colouring.

I started this back in January and then set it aside for a bit, but I wanted to draw Amsi in her role as a musician. This is my first pure coloured pencil piece in a long while. I'm so used to the full coverage of markers that I had to learn to not fight against the paper. Anyway, here's Wonderwall

I bought a SonarPen a little while ago for phone doodlin’. It works with the software designed to use it, but the UI for all these non-Procreate apps is unintuitive enough that I’m having a hard time enjoying it. I did manage to sketch @erin-hime.bsky.social’s Zelline, but it was…a struggle 🥲

Saw a “tutorial” going around on tracing cat faces to get the ✨perfect✨ anime face. It seems to work great, 10/10 no notes, except I’m in enough of a slump that I can’t bring myself to do anything further. 🥲
