Canis Anubis, or Canid.. if you prefer
@canis-anubis
🐺Have made this my primary social media. (Still keeping a presence on: 📍 In DC/Balt/Annap area 🏛🦀⛵️
It's been a long time coming, and has simply been an empty shell for a decade or more, I imagine, but I wanted to get out while I still could. For the grey muzzles, if you find you want to do the same before English support ends, this is where you do it: www.livejournal.com/accountstatu...
If you see this, post a, pic from your phone with no explanation.
I stumbled upon this at a thrift shop earlier and did not purchase it. It is a rather unique take and I'm sure some of you probably know what it's from. That said, someone was clearly on acid coming up with whatever he is :)
Too many young stars with crazy bad endings, with too few around them pulling the brakes when they see their life is a spiral. www.nytimes.com/2026/06/17/a...
If you're meaning reposts from all, that's maybe always be there:
Somehow I've not seen this in the past 30 years, and as Landmark's are kicking off their month with it today, at a very low price, I'm taking the plunge to catch it on the big screen. (Might be a private screening at this point)
If you haven't read it, you might enjoy Elfquest. The entire series is found here: elfquest.com/reading-room...
I don't use TG, but you probably do. Give this a read: www.darkreading.com/application-... Take note of the recommended actions.
Comics lost one of their influential greats at just 63yo w/the passing of Sam Keith (LB dementia is a lousy thing to have in the final chapter of one's life). I first encountered him back in '83 with Max the Hare, but he went on to do many of the characters you know bleedingcool.com/comics/sam-k...
I can't afford the shipping, so for now an image of a 20 year old painting will have to do.
I'm not going to insult you with my 'art' for the closet, but I will throw you in 8 to consider.
Time will tell. He is a far cry from how we'd normally envision him.
Sweet looking book @emptysetart.bsky.social, congrats!
'saw this on Mast. it was new to me & cute. Maybe to you too. At night we get deer, foxes, the random cat, the occasional raccoons, but I don't think I've seen a possum in RL or on the cam in 10 years. I'd love one in the garage, but would be annoyed if there was that much room to get in at all :)
This is my annual(ish) 'Shit's getting cold out there' post to remind you not to wake up to, or come home to, a flooded basement. Close the valves to your outdoor spigots, but most importantly, then go open those spigots to let that water drain out and not freeze in the pipe. "Adulting.. ugh."
Some movies are just timely. 'No better evening to give V a watch.
I should add that they had a couple similar others, as well as a oddly posed Cheshire. Toilet critters is an odd theme.
I was wandering around Michaels' Halloween section and I can't help but thinking they're selling the Big Bad Wolf dropping grandma off at the pool while cleaning up with Red Ridinghood's cloak. I'm mostly posting it though, as I think more than a couple of you might feel a need to have one.
I stumbled upon this by @gaikotsu.bsky.social a couple days ago. It's probably one of the most accurate (and sometimes frustrating) 'coming of age' as an adult relationship stories. I binged a couple years in a couple days. If it is new to you, check it out. www.furaffinity.net/view/31053624/
I feel like not enough here realize Heather Bruton (hbruton.bsky.social) has been on BS a long time now. Maybe that is because if you search for her by name, or with HBruton, oddly enough, BlueSky isn't putting her in the results (Which is BS). So folks need to bang the drum, comment, & follow
Random art acquisition from @khaosdog.bsky.social was awesome to find in the mailbox, as you'd expect. Four of their postcards, each with original hand painted art on the other sides. Keep an eye on their feed, if you don't already, for their all-too affordable originals when they pop up. Thanks!
As the cold rolls into the East, this is my annual (When I recall to) message to remind you to close the internal valves for your outdoor spigots. Then OPEN the valves on the spigots outside and leave them. No one wants to come home to a flooded basement or first floor due to a frozen pipe cracking
