After the phenomenal success of my night fighter identity quiz, I thought I might try my hand at setting an Odd one Out quiz.

Of course. I hope you appreciate that I got up at 07:30, on a weekend, to find that hastily thrown together pile of garden canes and bed linen. I ended up going with the general online consensus although a line diagram of the Ca.4 in this book shows it with unequal span wings. 🤷♂️

Was in Bennett’s bar last night when the lights went out for over an hour. Nobody batted an eye, just kept drinking in the dark as if that’s a perfectly normal thing to do. Luckily the card machine kept working and a little light from the illuminated beer taps meant the staff could keep serving.

The downside of having a bird feeder popular with goldfinches is that they are such messy eaters. All the spilled seed attracts a flock of pigeons. Luckily the pigeons eventually attract a solution to the pigeon problem.

In the spring I put up a feeder with sunflower hearts in an attempt to encourage goldfinches to my back yard. Over the summer I had a pair visit regularly, then 3 young joined them later. Now I get a flock emptying the feeder every day. The greedy little swine are eating me out of house & home.
