Ik there's like a 2 year difference between these two artworks (and one is an alternate universe version of the other character), but it's kinda weird seeing how my art style shifted. Even if slightly. It's nice??? Idk how to put it, but it's nice seeing improvement, even in the small things

Hey guys. I just wanted to stop by and say a few things before I disappear again!

I'm alive. Ik I've been posting sketches ALMOST consistently, but I haven't really drawn things I NEED to. I have a commission I need to complete (my client is a literal saint has the patience of a angel), a DTIYS after the comm to celebrate now 3̶0̶0̶ 400 followers, reference sheets for my OCs, art to illustrate my Michael and 2D Gorillaz crossover short story... It's a lot to get done and there's a LOT more to do... and I don't have much time. I also have a summer class I'm taking, but it ends next week.

I won't get into super personal details, but my mental health has been deteriorating. Rapidly. For about 4-5 months. College friends have said that I look sickly physically and I am not improving. My depression and anxiety have worsened and somehow my parents think I'm fine??? And that I can just "change the way I think" (they also don't believe depression is a medical condition nor do they know I have it). They also are forcing me to attend university in the fall, despite me begging to take at LEAST one semester off for my mental health and financial issues... they said no and now I'm enrolled for fall. So that is contributing to my extreme burnout. I also will have to miss Gorillaz coming to the USA in September so that's absolutely wrecking me emotionally too. Life sucks.

That paragraph is a lot to take in, so forgive me. On a more positive note... my birthday is coming up on July 13th. I never really celebrate it much with friends (family issues keep me from doing so), but I want to do something a bit different. One of my friends made an entire birthday list for themselves for their friends/followers and I want to do the same. I don't want much, but I do ask this:

I have a really, really strong adoration for Gorillaz and my OCs. The only thing I really want is fanart. Whether it's drawing Ash or Michael individually, together, or with members of Gorillaz. I'd love anything. Hypnosis art is peak, cute art is appreciated, chaos is always welcome. I'm good with anything. Or if you guys just draw Murdoc, I wouldn't complain (although Ash with him would be awesome)! Regardless, that's what I want for my birthday. Art of Ash and/or Michael with or without Gorillaz.
