I just recieved this in the mail. The US eugenicist administration in action. It's an official MassHealth (affordable care act health insurance) notice outlining upcoming work and education requirements for people that could lead to loss of coverage if not met.

"Dear member,
In 2027, we may need to get more information from you about how much you work, volunteer, or attend school.
> That’s because starting on January 1, 2027, the Trump Administration will require certain MassHealth members to work, be enrolled in school, or volunteer to keep their MassHealth coverage.
>
PLEASE READ: This notice contains important information to help you keep your coverage.
Here’s what you need to know.
These new federal work and education requirements will affect the following members:
* Members who are age 19 to 64 and are not disabled
* Members who are age 19 to 64 who do not have children younger than 14
If you are subject to these federal work and education requirements and do not meet them, you may lose your health care coverage. If you are eligible for MassHealth but are denied coverage because you didn’t meet work and education requirements, you will also not be eligible for subsidized coverage through the Massachusetts Health Connector.
It’s very important for you to understand and follow the new rules if you want to keep your MassHealth coverage.
If you lose MassHealth because you did not meet work and education requirements, you can apply again at any time."

I want a completely different UI for @bsky.app not based on Twitter's. More like the Catch-Up feature in @cheeaun.com's Phanpy.social, but with people's faces as filters on the left hand side, and Feeds to the far left. In addition to raw feeds I want filtered views I can apply to them up top.

Today's light reading. I'm putting together a community capacity building plan and need to school up on the latest best practices and how to talk about this stuff with different collaborator types who bring different things to the table. Conclusion so far: It's a lot to simplify and make legible.

It's interesting how the top challenge listed is directly relevant to atproto in a very different way than discussed on the issue. Atproto introduces concepts and data flows foreign to user expectation that make this point even more relevant.

Improving user comprehension about the way in which information flows manifest on the web remains a challenge. For instance, the ability for sites to turn a one-off cross-site interactions into a persistent linkage between a user's identity on each site is hard to explain and understand. How use of FedCM will change how people conceptualize their online identity is something will need time and research to better understand.

It's day 100 and progress on Project 2025 objectives is at 41%. It's been stuck around this level for weeks. This could be because of pushback but more likely means they're finished dismantling the low hanging fruit of government functions. The rest being more complicated buys us time to push back.
