Man its funny as shit that the game band ( @thegameband.com ), the team behind blaseball, is doing fucking LLM trash now. Lol. Clowns and Jesters for hire willing to debase themselves Blaseball really was the bluesky of internet phenomenon -- we all engaged in a way we weren't supposed to

The game uses a custom hint engine built around a local language model trained on the English dictionary. Broader clues are model-generated, while developers step in with hand-written hints as players move closer to the answer.

The studio says the artwork, interface and user experience were all made by humans. AI is helping power the conversation, not drawing the character players are meant to connect with.

I will never forgive the Zelda team for taking away the original art style that triforce heroes was gonna have Did you know that the triforce heroes link is the same link as The link between worlds link? The reason they chose to go with the toon style was to match other games w the multi links

Very early concept art from legend of Zelda triforce heroes, that shows link and the red and blue clothes wearing link copycats that players two and three play as, stacked as a totem.

The image reads below it, because triforce heroes features the link from a link between worlds, designers initially drew versions of him faithful to the previous game. Then producer Eiji Aonuma stepped in and insisted they use toon link. Variations based on the colors of their tunics and hats led the heroes to take on a look that while clearly link, was not quite like he had ever been seen in past titles.

I've seen people point out that it's probably actually intended to double down on Staryu and starmie being an Ultraman reference. Even in the original pokémon anime, starmie's gem flashes red when its low on energy, like ultraman's energy gem, Misty says as such (without saying "ultraman", haha)

I run them for work and I'm totally fine. But the attempt to run them for peers has me completely frozen. I pitch games, i have concepts, my friends have characters, but I feel the work piles up more and more i shut down, i want the game to be "good".
