Tedd is about to turn 13 & I wonder if he will make 14. Just enjoying every day. He has Cushings and it's ravaged his body. He's been pretty stable for a year but his symptoms are coming back. Tedd has to wear the cone for the next 5 days. He's starting to get illness after illness. Old age man. He'll be 13 in August. He has to sleep in Jacks room when he has the cone as he gets stuck under my bed with it. Waking up without him this morning was heavy on my heart.
I got a Queen Arachnia tattoo. My artist made her face a little rounder/more 30's style so it more a rep of the character than Janeway. I trust his art direction, he's tattooed most of my body so his edits on what will work makes it all cohesive. Also it kind of looks like me now which is hilarious.
I got a couple of my Tom Paris action figures today. That they made the mutated one KILLS ME. Comes with three offspring 😂😂😂.
It's my 46th birthday today. Jack took me on a long drive to my favourite brunch place before the weather got too insane.
Got a new little foster friend Parker. He is TINY, 2.5kgs. He's going to be staying with us while he heals from surgery and getting prepared for his new family (learning to be on lead, toileting outside, sleeping in a crate). We've fostered a lot and this little guy is gonna do great.
I have finally gotten Morticia ready for long day trips. Rode to the station this morning & now on the train to Melbs & will cycle all over Melbourne & then catch vline home. I have desperately needed this level of freedom since I moved to the country 4.5 years ago. I missed being a cyclist so hard.
Such a wonderful holiday to Aoteroa. We planned on doing so much and did very little! Our accomodation is right on Throne Bay and has direct beach access. Lying in bed watching the sunrise over Rangitoto absolute heaven 😍 feel very relaxed and ready to go home actually.
