I've always felt weird vibes coming off gods of commerce and merchants. So when @paizo.com asked me to update Abadar I was so happy they let me make him MESSY. That includes killing his brother and absorbing his portfolio by slowly making history forget about his existence, eventually erasing him.

Hey Backers!

We're back with a sneak preview of the environment stat block for Slaughterstone Square, one of the many locations you will explore throughout this book!

The Team

Before we get into Slaughterstone Square, we want to first speak on the all star team working closely with Monty and Kelly (The Dungeon Dudes) to bring this project to life.

First off we have our designers, Mike Underwood (Lead) and Carlos Cisco who both worked as designers on the original core rulebook for Daggerheart! We're very excited for all of you to see how their Daggerheart expertise translates into the world of Drakkenheim.

Speaking of Daggerheart expertise......

Our top-notch editors are currently knee-deep in in editing the book's manuscript. Who are these editors? Scott Fitzgerald Gray, Sadie Lowry, and Sebastian Yūe, all of whom ALSO worked on the Daggerheart Core Rulebook!

As you can see, this book is in extremely capable hands, ones that are expertly transferring the magic of the Daggerheart system and interweaving it with the cosmic horror of Drakkenheim.

This is an integrity driven project lead by designers who are ensuring the essence of Drakkenheim remains intact and uncompromised while also leaning into the unique aspects that make the Daggerheart system special. The goal of this project is to make a true Daggerheart expansion worthy of the system as well as a Drakkenheim book worthy of the fans.

We can't wait for it to be in your hands.

Pistolheart Volume 2 just hit gold status this morning on @heartofdaggers.bsky.social! Over half the sales came from bundles with Volume 1, so what @mattcolville.bsky.social said in his oft cited community video is true. (Paraphrasing) The best way to sell your thing is to make a second thing!
