Isle of Wight “overner”; owner of/owned by a gorgeous diva spaniel and a chilled young black labrador. Hiker, traveller, cook, Arsenal fan and paid up member of the Guardian-reading leftie liberal wokerati
M and S scented candles. Obviously the Isle of Wight has a subversive side!
He did this just before arriving at the pub…”If you think I’m sitting under the table for an hour instead of going home for my lunch, think again”!
Yes he did speak but I dread to think what the original iteration would have had to say…
@weratedogs.com I apologise for the poor cinematography- I was trying to shield the phone from the sun - but here’s Marley living his best, if slightly bemused, life in his paddling pool. Actually his sister Órla thought it was hers but possession is of course nine tenths of the law!
I can no longer read The Observer magazine food section- prime Pseud’s Corner material every bloody week!
I have to tell you that yours is one of the vanishingly few accounts that every day brings joy to our lives. Thank you so much for everything you do and most importantly for providing an alternative view of America which a lot of us feared no longer existed. Love you guys ❤️❤️
She was named after Orla Guerin, born just after the start of the war in Ukraine when OG was reporting daily like the badass she is. Discovered that with the accent Órla in Irish Gaelic means golden princess; without it it means vomit…so Órla she is!
These were everywhere in Malta. Much more hygienic than a drinking fountain and you could fill your bottle with cold water - still or sparkling - for pennies (cents). Could they catch on here??
Always in prime spot when I am cooking, just in case anything is dropped!
Of course, the princess Órla will take all the adulation going. She now has a younger brother (Marley) who is her willing slave, as it should be!
This is our Órla at eight weeks. She’s now three and a half but having lost our last Labrador boy at 4 we don’t take anything for granted anymore.
Lovely victory for the Asp, sometimes the good guys do come first !
There’s a markedly softer tone in the letter he sent to Labour Party members. The worst description of Greens is “wrong headed”. Why so different??
Saw The Bunk himself absolutely smash it in London’s West End. Epic production, Wendell killed it, as he does everything else.
Well played Neil Coyle, more of this kind of thing please Labour MPs!
This is my lovely, much-missed spaniel Elsa enjoying a run in the snow in our garden. It’s that little skip jump as she starts off that gets me every time! ❤️🐾
Excellent! Festive madness about to descend here so may I wish you a very happy Christmas and see you on the oche on the other side!! Cx
Marley isn’t much help to be honest and his friend is having a bad day…
