The Normandy salt-marsh lamb was incredible! To be able to have such amazing French lamb on the Costa del Sol is such a treat! And the Pinot Noir matched it beautifully!

Historic moments! The border between Gibraltar and Spain will be fully open in 20 minutes. For us residents, no more passport stamping! The Treaty was signed today in Brussels - the de facto non-application of the Schengen rules from Midnight 14/07/2026

And here we are - deep storm. This morning we had lots of forked lightning, just now it’s been sheet lightning. As I write this, forked lightning has come back again! Fantastic storm!
South of Valencia now, lightning & thunder. Civil Protection alert sent to all phones.
Excited about my forthcoming research visit to St Helena #UKOTS #Biodiversity #CulturalHeritage #Libraries
