Closest I will ever get 2 Star dressing room or curtain call. I joined a guided tour of Stockton's Globe theatre (listed building), the decor was beautiful. I was tempted 2 curtsey 2 pretend audience, they were plenty of offers 2 take a photo of myself on stage - I declined, why wud I photo of me?
The Caff, 148a High Street, Stockton-on-Tees. Bacon n egg butty, plus a cuppa all for £3. Cheap n cheerful, with a nicely decorated table, I nabbed a bargain (will the Young Ones still be funny after 40+ years(😱)?) and helped to support those in need. Why pay more?
Weekend sorted, thanks to Wolviston village fair. Shame I can't sit on the balcony and enjoy a glass, unfortunately it's blowing a gale.
Spotted at sunny Seaton Carew outside of - Surfside, A Plaice to Be, and Peek a Brew (if the building has a collective name, I don't know what it is). No electrics needed (you manually turned the handles yourself), you stand up to play (rather than sitting in a gaming chair).
Something that Reform and Restore should remember before stirring up racist hatred.
Stockton-on-Tees High Street, bus shelter, designed by the Wooly Wood Shop and volunteers.
"If I could find a souvenir, just to prove the world was here and h is a red balloon, I think of you and let it go". Careers fair, Riverside Stadium.
Redcar Kite Festival, it wasn't paddling or lemon top (I'd rather have a 99) weather, but it did stay dry. They were...
Seemed to be suffering from pollution, which may regrettably have caused the death of this poor bird.
For a swim with her ducklings and I saw the grey squirrels (I've never seen a red one). I've only ever seen photos of Marton Hall, which stood in the grounds of Stewart Park. I see so many photos of beautiful architectural buildings that are sadly lost to history. Unfortunately one of the ponds,
Nice afternoon in Middlesbrough's Stewart Park, the birthplace of the explorer Captain James Cook. I love the blanket of daisies, so beautiful (why do people complain about wildflowers? I enjoy plucking a dandelion clock and counting, it's also good to see the buttercups). Mother duck was out
#The picture of innocence, butter wouldn't melt, yet Moose the Menace is a hooligan - look what he's done, he ate my prescription sunglasses! He was threatened with no treats next time I visit (I always take him a treat or you could call it paying the entry fee). He just looked at me with his soft
Easter gift for a young family member - hand crocheted mother hen and baby chick.
Easter presents for the family dogs, they do of course squeak. Is that the whole idea - to kill the squeak?
This is Frank, again he belongs to a family member. He's a Jack Russell/Staffy cross and just like Moose, he has a lovable personality. I can control Frank and I do help to mind him. I'm responsible, I know which family dogs I can handle.
Meet Moose, he is a Bull Mastiff who belongs to a family member. He has a lovable personality, but he's strong. Too strong for me, so I can't help out with him. That makes me responsible, as I know I can't control him.
Daffodils basking in the sunshine @StocktonCouncil's Preston Park. I'd been volunteering for the day in the museum and was welcomed by this beautiful sight, as I left for the day in sunlight after a dull and damp start to the day. A perfect evening, families sat on the grass, playing footy
Sunday dinner - Owington Farm, Billingham. Cauliflower cheese, carrots, parsnips, roasties, mash, roast beef and Yorkshire pudding - £13.95, add a glass of medium red wine and it totalled £17.95. Apparently it would normally include - red cabbage, broccoli and stuffing - being busy they'd ran out.
Fabulous sunrise, this morning or red sky in the morning, sailors warning.
This is looking a bit well thumbed, I may need to buy a new copy, next Christmas.
Weekend walk around Stockton-on-Tees's Ropner Park, trying to walk off the excess. It was as busy as if it were a summer's day, people walking dogs, children riding their bikes/scooters, play area was busy n café was doing a roaring trade (I bought a cuppa). A family had brought a big sack
