Birthday dinner with family in Sidmouth.. lovely and fresh after all the heat
Preparing to sell sets of vintage hat pins.. never really looked closely at them before (inherited) so much detail, some are really beautiful, wish they could tell their stories 😀
Getting a few pea (for shoots) / broad bean seeds started with our biochar- trialling saved seed vs bought seed. First time last year that I've saved such a variety of seed, we grew alot of heritage organic veg so worth a try!
Thank you to everyone who has bought our biochar bags/boxes for their gardens. We've raised money to buy organic heritage seeds and you have sequestered around 97 kgs of CO2e and increased the carbon in your soil! At the Eco Hub we've sequestered around 857 kgs CO2e in the past year.
Our new biochar kilns and water tank have arrived, ready to go out to farmers/landowners to make biochar from hedgerow waste/brambles etc. Thanks for funding from Blackdown Hills National Landscapes.
Fabulous day at our natural wreath making day this year!
Loads of worms in the box of biochar I mixed with used coffee grains 😀
