Hit 38°C today but my brilliant mind said its a great day to do some baking since my neighbour gave me 2 giant zucchinis! I just had to make some muffins. Everyone better gobble them up cause they'll dry up in this heat. Ive bagged them in Ziploc so hopefully they'll still be good tomorrow #Jamloops
From bad to worse #Kamloops I really hope things improve by morning. Keep those windows and doors shut tight and if you don't need to go anywhere tomorrow, do stay home so you dont need to breath this crap. Keep sn eye on your elderly friends & neighbours. Those of us with chronic illness too!

Fan 2 feet from my face has become my best friend. Maybe it's time to give it a name, let's not call it Fanny. Sucks when central a/c is no longer operating efficiently. Box ac is ok but the noise they make sometimes is too much. #perimenopause

#LupusAwarenessMonth Day 28. Even though we are almost at the end of the month, #Lupus is every day for me. I'll walk this journey every day, hoping that one day there will be a cure. I survived a lupus induced heart attack & I plan on fighting any other health crisis Lupus tries to throw at me.
My roses are looking better this year! They took a serious hit during that heat dome we had a few years ago & I really thought I might need to cut them to the ground. #Kamloops. I had to thin out so many dead branches the bushes looked horrible. They still need shaping but they've come a long way.
Nasal and mouth sores are horrible. Stubborn! Meds take forever to heal them. #Lupus #LupusAwarenessMonth
