I think the solution would be an option to adjust skirt length so I don't have to stare at Eve's panties during her run animation. Doesn't even have to be the default. At least her default outfit is actually pretty good! I also like this one and used it a lot with glasses + different hairstyle.
I've finally started Stellar Blade and, while it's rough around the edges, it's a pretty good game! That said, it really sucks that 100% of the outfits are designed for the male gaze instead of having a mix. It's been like 12 hours and I finally got something that covers all of Eve and isn't latex.

My thesis project in my university CG course focused on water and a physically based skybox. So I'm annoyed by the nostalgia bait. Also, I love how modern games still have the visual artifacts with reflection and refraction you see in this image. It's a hard problem to solve without raytracing.
Seeing what’s going on with the convention exclusives sold at Anime Expo, I think companies need to rethink how they do them because all that seems to happen is they sell out instantly and then are listed on eBay at 200%+ markup. Oh and other exhibitors are often the ones getting most of them.

You should check out Visions of Mana. Not only is it gorgeous with crazy good art direction, but it fixes a *lot* of the issues I had with the action side of Rebirth’s style of combat. It has a materia-lite system that I wish was better, but its RPG side is much better than FFXVI’s. Plus air dashes!
I can’t quite put my finger on why, but Tifa’s black mage isn’t clicking for me at all. Like can anyone who knows more about fashion help me here? The best guess I have is that it doesn’t seem very cohesive and the boob strap comes off as random and ridiculous.

I did a Mystery Booster 2 draft last night and feel really bad. My deck was based around a sacrifice creatures theme and I had two cards that make legendary dogs every turn. Oh and I had to name the dogs myself before killing them. I am a terrible person 😭 At least I got a $40 Sanguine Brushstroke?
It’s a little jankier than I wanted, but my conversion of this shelf into a workbench with pegboard has been going well. I still have a bit more to go, but this will help with freeing up space and making cosplay. Hoping to get my workshop back together sooner rather than later.
Plus, Castlevania gave us these two. Isaac’s character arc is amazing and Olrox fucking slays every scene he’s in.
Discovering cooking spaghetti like this is life changing. I’ll boil the spaghetti a few minute before al dente, throw them straight from my pot to my already simmering pan of sauce/meat, crank the heat to max, and finish it there. The key to keeping it from burning is to constantly add pasta water.
Me learning yet another big name in the cosplay community is an asshole.

Do not be these two. I get saving 1-2 seats, maybe people are in the bathroom, but six? Fuck right off. They’re laying like that because I called them on it and tried to sit down with my group. I wish more cons were like PAX and had their staff enforce rules around this.
All set up to paint seven of these masks. Luckily, I don’t have to be too careful with painting since brush strokes and flaws are part of the look. If you have any questions as to why I’m using certain tools or materials here feel free. This setup is from lots of experience 😅

I love Golden Acrylic’s paint mixer. I can use it to colour match and make my own airbrush paints, etc. The best part is that you can get started with just the primary colours, black, and white. Having more tints, etc. is technically better but expensive. A gram scale makes the mixing ratios easy.
I love my front yard, the grass mix we planted is coming in well. It’s a PNW flowering grass and clover mix. We did micro clover near the pathways and the grass mix everywhere else. It can be cut when I have an event, but you get this when you let it grow. Our entire yard is built for pollinators.
