The centred black and white photo is of a pattern of light made as it falls through a lace curtain. The other three photos posted here were taken that same afternoon in 2022 in my grandmother's Adriatic hometown. I didn't know then that this book lay ahead but I hoped one of these images would be the cover of my next book. Thank you Black Herald for such a beautiful book.
