That's right. We watched the Cyber Ninjas looking for ballots with bamboooo fibers, and Giuliani's drunks give affadavits, and Mike Pillow's wild conspiracy charts. And yet Team Donald LOST over 50 court challenges to their election challenges.
Republicans pretend to have forgotten why 80 million Americans rushed to the polls in November 2020 to vote out the corrupt, incompetent Donald J. Trump. And yet, the egomaniac challenged the election results, and by 12/15/2020, Team Trump had lost over 50 court challenges.
I'm still bitter that so many registered Dems didn't think our historic climate action 2021-2024 was a big enough priority to rush to the polls to protect.
It's a pity that nowadays you can't cmpaign on what the Dems did in Montana from 2021-2024
I'd forgotten part of the history of the Republican Big Lies about President Biden winning 306 Electoral College Votes in 2020: 1/3/2021: Trump insiders circulate 38-page Powerpoint on options for declaring a national emergency to delay or prevent the final certification of the votes.
And yet, tons of voters bought into the Republican media conglomerates' (& social media) push to make the hardest working president seem Too Sleepy, because he wanted to let the Trump Tax Cuts expire.
Baffled by so much Dems dissing Dems because @dscc.bsky.social @housedemocrats.bsky.social Project 2021-2024 seemed very transformational to me. But Dems didn't brag often & broadly enough to overcome Republican-Billionaire-Owned media and trolls trashing it all, so Donald got his 1.5% victory.
Detailed demographic breakdowns in the full Pew report. Republican amping up Manosphere campaigning worked. www.pewresearch.org/politics/202... -- Men under 50 slightly favored Trump in 2024, a reversal from 2020 -- Trump’s support among Hispanic, Black voters higher in 2024 than in 2020, 2016
2021 American Rescue Plan got 0 Republican votes. 2022 Inflation Reduction Act got 0 Republican votes. HR-1 For The People Act got 0 Republican votes. I was hoping urgent climate action and millions of jobs created would be "popular things."
They sure did. So many Republicans sneered at OMG how much President Obama was paying Iran!
The American People lost so much in choosing Netanyahu's fellow-felon, Putin's apprentice and Jeffrey Epstein's wingman as president. He tore up the JCPOA, the real Iran Deal, one of the most remarkable diplomatic achievements I've seen in my lifetime. obamawhitehouse.archives.gov/node/328996/
as of Jan. 16, 2017: "Iran has shipped out 98 percent of its enriched uranium, dismantled two-thirds of its centrifuges, filled its plutonium reactor with concrete and implemented the most rigorous nuclear inspection regime ever negotiated." 2009-2017.state.gov/secretary/re...
That's what I was speculating. Maybe they want to make sure none of the Republicans make it into the top two in our primary. But they are really pushing a ton of lies about Becerra's environmental record. We need a governor who knows how to fight and win and who prioritizes Environmental Justice.
You're right. We need a governor who has faught and won lawsuits against Trump administration environmental rollbacks.
Yes, alas, Republican Billionaires own our national media. I was shocked by the Republican Party choosing the conman three times as their candidate, long after it had been documented that he was being manipulated by V Putin. The so-called "Party of National Security" did that. Over and over again.
I was a big fan Biden and Project 2021. But greedy Republican billionaires hated him. They worked very hard using national US media they owned, and podcasts they funded, to convince voters that he was too incompetent to govern. And/or that "both parties are the same" in spite of all this:
Sadly still rings true. Republicans chose the vicious lunatic conman, Putin's tool to humiliate the USA on the world stage and diminish our power, two more times after their famous 4th of July trip to Moscow in 2018.
I think the Republican Party choosing Putin's Useful Idiot as their Presidential candidate 2 more times after his first try was the really blaring signal.
Alas. True, per Nov 11, 2024 exit polling. and also: "There was a wide split between young men and young women, with young men (18-29) being +2 Trump, and young women in the same age category being +24 for Harris." www.thecivicscenter.org/blog/youth-v...
Billionaire Owners of US Media (and funders of right wing social media) hated middle-class Joe Biden, so they got everyone to smear him as too damn Sleeeeeepy (while they were pretending the Demented Felon was fine). And it worked to eke out the 1.5% "victory" they needed to stop Bidenomics.
Or (3) they have been quite openly aligned with Putin for a while now. And Putin has lots of kompromat on Republican Party leaders (that he may have shown them in their special 2018 4th of July trip to Moscow).
Uh oh. Is Jonathan Lemiere consulting his exclusive inside source again?
How soon we all forget Republicans' WMD lies & Abu Ghraib...They could fake nat sec gravitas while criticizing Obama & Clinton... After 2017, billionaire-owned national media let Repubs coast along on outdated "party of national security" banding long after they had been thoroughly compromised.
Yes indeed #Velshi, what did the cities that were the focus of Republican Big Lies in 2020 have in common? Atlanta, Milwaukee, Detroit, Philadelphia, Phoenix... And we forget that by 12/15/2020 when all 538 electoral votes were certified, Team Trump had LOST 50+ legal challenges to the results.
