Anne-Marie and Sarah took really lovely photos and videos of me. No wonder there are 'no photos of pregnant women' from these eras though- you can't see my bump at all through the petticoats- and this is without a corset!

Currently sat in Cannon Hill Park dressed as an Edwardian lady (or as close as my currently wearable wardrobe will go) because a friend needs someone for photos. I should do this more often. It's thoroughly impractical but enjoyably whimsical. Had to put petticoats on in the car park after driving.

Unpacked another couple of boxes 255 books now. I decided to keep the G*iman and Harry Potter but put them on the highest shelf over the door I can only just reach on a ladder. For now. Maybe.

An 800 year old door, with what are probably the oldest surviving example of mortise and tenon joints in the UK at Chepstow Castle. The castle itself took us over 3 hours to explore and the audio guide was included with admission (a 3 day pass to unlimited sites for less than cost of entry to 2)

After organising events for a living over the last few years this sounds like bliss. My experience is that usually the extra thing I end up doing involves manual labour in either extreme heat or heavy rain. I do miss being world's tiniest security guard sometimes though.
