In a continuing thread on great cafes , this is one of my local this morning. “Metchys” in Cathays. Great little place normally student heavy but goes quiet over the summer. Well worth a pop by.
I’m hoping my future will be me being envious of what my children do and the adventures they have.! And so it begins for the eldest. Well jel of her trip here and wider Iceland visits! Thanks @ysgolglantaf

With all the devolution chit chat I do think places should be governed a lot more on their river basin footprint. Or several together. But boundaries should be the watersheds It makes far more sense 🤔
One of the things I’d like to see more in Cardiff is more history info panels in selected places. Think the next administration may well look at this. 😉 But Cardiff / tiger bay should have some pics and detail of what was and Now is.
In the imperial capital for the evening and my part is certainly very busy for the footy. Good atmosphere mind., no chairs thrown yet, so will find a quiet spot to observe. With a degree of rebellion hidden away. 😉
You know we have just had various defence folks resign about money for defence and the like ……… Maybe just maybe they needed to be a bit more on top of the numbers they were responsible for before toys get thrown out of the pram

In the continuation of the series, best Indy cafes in south wales, two Shot social, in Caerphilly. Great cappachino, 😎 but only takeaway cups. 😟 Cycled here - easy way - so the only question is - Caerphilly mountain back or train 🤔 Support local independents
Opposite the developing brewery quarter than for some had questionable design aspects - this development that is on the corner of Penarth road and taff mead embankment is looking very nice indeed. Design and materials make a huge difference. Social housing development ?

I can’t see how it’s worth so much and think it’s going to fall away rapidly but today at least quite a lot of people have made quite a lot of money - including blofelt 2.0

The last bastion of the Covid era is falling. Finally found a cafe - caffe grana , st James - that is returning to shared news papers to read. A welcome return! Limited titles but suits me for lunch!
