Watching the 3rd place match and keep seeing this insurance ad that is showing fancy things that might get stolen from your house. And it shows what appears to be an Olympus pen F MFT but calls it a DSLR camera. 😅🥶
Pentax 17. My vote goes for a modern production camera that has quirks but rocks. Used to take the most absurd trichrome I’ve yet managed. 360 degree from 18 images using the custom 3d printed pano head. Waiting for baggage at PHL.
Changes have been made, Philadelphia 2026 Leica SL2, Canon 50 1.2 ltm #Mustachioed
Comes with 5x pieces of RC paper, a brief exposure guide, and instructions (optimistically) for caffenol. I love the way this has been built, packaged, and marketed, but I do wonder what percentage of buyers (without a darkroom,or at least some supplies, are able to produce photos.
Whoah. Dark horse entrant for the #ShittyCameraChallenge. My daughter and I are gonna try this awesome book, that is a (pinhole) camera! #ThisBookIsACamera #BelieveInFilm
Huh. “Phatmobile, MadMax Edition” A heavily customized ‘91 Geo Metro convertible spotted on our way home tonight. I unironically love it. #WeirdCarBS #Philadelphia

Having a great time nerding out and shooting “instant” photos with @isaacblomqvist.bsky.social for the #ShittyCameraChallenge I think the #InstantBoxCam qualifies 3 ways despite being “LF”!: 1. The ur “instant” cam 2. Dead format: (RPPC/plates/ftypes) 3. Crazy hard to use/insane process = 💩🎞️ 😅😅🤷♂️
Hooray, it’s #ShittyCameraChallenge eve and the matching (ish) shirts I ordered to share with my nephew arrived! Gonna give him a shirt and lend him a fed and go #ShittyCameraChallenge shooting together! 🎄🎄🎄💩💩💩📸📸📸

Ah, bummer. For some of my later lenses I have an external “Silens” shutter with “instant” (~1/50ish) like a packard.
I have a 220 for my regular nikkor tank, I don’t know they made a 220 for the bigger sheet film tank! Cool. I love that this one is adaptable to the smaller sheets, too, since I sometimes shoot some odball sizes.
I am lucky to have several cameras from 1890-1910. It is extremely enjoyable to make pictures with these well made and functional machines. The oldest is an early 1890s French Radiguet 13x18 tailboard camera with working early Thornton Pickard shutter capable of 1/15-1/90. #BelieveInFilm (2/3)
Playing “is it pictures” with the big tank. (Regular tank for scale). 😅😅 #Believeinfilm
The Buckbee Silver Gem, a c. 1887 open-back banjo. I think the oldest non-photography object I regularly use in my house. (1/3)
The domke f3 all packed up with everything but the tripod: pony Premo, film, 6 holders, meter; dark cloth; focusing aid.
Screw your f64 group, my lens goes to f128! 😅 n.b. f128 in the older US (Uniform System) aperture numbering is only f45 in the “modern” aperture system. 😅😅😅
Today’s carry. Shooting some local “historic” sites with a camera that was already approaching obsolescence when constructed. 😅😅 The pony Premo #4 c. 1912. #BelieveInFilm #TrichromeEverything
Sad end for the Pz-1p. I liked this camera more than its plasticky body, perhaps, warranted. Very close to being the perfect k1-ii companion since it can control aperture for modern k lenses and will autofocus with many. But it behaved weirdly, smelled like it had a short, and now won’t turn on.
