DREDGE - Incredible game! Always love me some fishing games 😁 Loved the gameplay loop of going around and fishing, exploring, and some creepy lovecraftian vibes The reveal really got me and I had to sit for a few minutes to figure out which ending to take! Go play the chill spooky fishing game!

My teenage self is so dang happy, the Linkin Park concert did not disappoint! Those lyrics are still embedded in my soul, plus the new songs are great too! They also handed these out to everyone after the concert, the strangest collab but I'm here for it 😂

AHHH Gamespot called me out for my performance as Yvonne too!!! "...Chanisha Somatilaka's Yvonne Gupta...perfectly sells the exhausted enthusiasm of an experienced journalist trying to welcome a newcomer to the industry..." Think reviewers relate to Yvonne 😅 So happy to hear it resonating!

Speaking of, Old Skies has burning but great characters, each brought to live with a collection of incredible voice acting talents. Actor Sally Beaumont (voice of Fia) is the natural standout, bringing a playful inquisitiveness and smug authority to the time-traveling hero that's punctuated by an adorable, awkward stammering when she tries to flirt, or barely contained desperation when she's bottling up the rising feeling of helplessness. But I have to give props to the two performances that made me laugh out loud: Chanisha Somatilaka's Yvonne Gupta and Sandra Espinoza's Liz Camron. The former perfectly sells the exhausted enthusiasm of an experienced journalist trying to welcome a newcomer to the industry, and the latter gives life to one of the most chaotic and fun "I'm hot and young so consequences be dammed" characters I've ever seen even though I already know where Old Skies' story ultimately ends up, I want to replay the whole thing just to go on that journey again and once more hear those lines. Gosh, and the music? Especially the songs with vocals? Chills, absolute chills.

I've done something for the first time: make 2 curries for dinner 😂 Made some Sri Lankan chicken and potato curries, and they turned out way better than I expected!! Usually I just chuck everything into a pot but both these curries really complimented each other 😁😁
