To the Cestrians on here, I just came across this photo, which I’ve never seen before. Who is the young lad on John Kelly’s left. I think the next young lad is Mark Sconce? And if so who is the older guy next to MS? Any idea an about the context of the photo? Pre-season?
This is just so good and reinforces that age statements are not the be all and end all when it comes to enjoyment of whisky.
Apple, mango & pomegranate with a wholemeal, oats and honey crumble. Together with pomegranate and cardamom ice cream. It’s been a busy day.
Today’s cook. Salmon (with a whisky & honey glaze), asparagus, samphire & hasselback potatoes.
Get yourself a bread maker. Absolute game changer. I haven’t bought an additive packed loaf or bread rolls for over 2 years.

Can’t wait! This and the NW is one of the highlights of my sporting year. Got to get back to the Island one day and for sure need to get to the NW for the first time.
You inspired me. But jeez I’ve got a lot of work to do. Weather forecast tomorrow looks good so gonna tackle the raspberries, blackberries and redcurrant that all need attention.
And coincidentally I’m looking forward to starting this tomorrow to ease my withdrawal symptoms.
