What does the % on the rain indicator mean? I always thought it was the chance of rain but someone said it was the expected rain coverage in your area and does it mean the same thing on every source? I look at BBC and Google weather.
Happy caturday to those who celebrate. Not my cat but one of several who wander into my garden.
I would lose count in the wild thing that is my garden. Over 20 at any given moment from at least four different species. Usually have at least six on this little thing.
Goldenrod Crab Spider, I think, on lavender plant. I watched as a bumblebee land on the same plant and then re-think that decision and fly away. #spiders #BloomscrollingWithBugs
I keep telling myself it could be worse (could be in a hospital with heating on or stuck on a train/in a car) and I'll be dead soon.
More woke and less doomer than I thought 🤔 Have a new podcaster to try.
They would look amazing in a jungle garden but alas is not to be www.rhs.org.uk/plants/gunnera
Magpies enjoying a drink and a bath. I just love the shiny feathers.
Spent most of today getting annoyed at myself for craving salty crisps during this stupid heatwave anyway turns out that's probably a sign I'm dehydrated. Sigh. Adulting is hard www.verywellhealth.com/craving-salt...
"...Modern electric cars can keep the cabin cooled or heated while parked, lock the doors, and even flash a message on the screen so good Samaritans don’t smash your windows trying to “rescue” your dog."
Heatscrolling ... Well I feel called out 🥵😆 Lovely pond, mine is covered in duckweed but also pretty, pretty flowers
Just in case you are the sole remaining person alive who hasn't heard: it's hot in Europe right now 🔥🥵 Europe is so bad at this.
My favourite thing to do in my garden is lie on the very edge of my pond and watch for all the various critters running, flying and swimming about. Definitely planted too much. #wildlifepond #bloomscrolling
Came across this sleeping bee on my spikey, overgrown 'really-want-to-dig-up-but-can't-because-the-pollinators-love-it-so' tayberry bush while watering the garden this week. #sleepingbee #bloomscrolling
Locally to me (in a super posh part of South England where the likes of Teresa May and George Clooney have owned properties) there is an annual scarecrow walk. This is my favourite. The text reads 'Trumpty Dumpty sat on a wall, Trumpthy Dumpty had a great fall....... Well fingers crossed.' 🤞
David Austin's Queen of Sweden Rose, if you have a photo of a more perfect flower, I'd love to see it 😍 #bloomscrolling #MaySunshine #Tryingnottocomplainabouttheheat🥵
The forecast for South England. To go from 14 degrees today to over 30 in less than a week is pretty scary. We rarely get over 30 in the height of summer ... or we didn't used to.
First flower this year. Bought in honour of my younger niece, Cora #Bloomscrolling #Peony
Love a little midday stroll in the garden while working from home. #bloomscrolling #ladybird
I was in Cambridge last weekend and wandered by this one; Sorry can't remember its name.
