A fantastic turnout from the community at The Great Warrington Duck Race, raising funds for the Warrington Christmas Pyjama Appeal, where I was on my annual duck retrieval duty with Richard from Warrington Rowing Club - like a giant game of hook-a-duck on the Mersey! 🦆🚣♀️🎣
Thank you to Warrington Power Sports Club for inviting me down to join a session of power hockey at Padgate Academy tonight - I had a blast! Really encouraging to see a greater variety of disability sport becoming available locally so everyone can find something they can participate in and enjoy.
A delightful bimble around Farm Run this morning in Culcheth, and an even more delightful pistachio and cherry danish at the end at Uproot Coffee! 🌞
The best thing about Recess is the fact that less time on the train means more time out on the doors - it's been great spreading the word about the Pride in Place funding coming to Orford and Poplars & Hulme wards, and to be out in Westbrook for our regular doorstep surgeries too this week!
18 miles done with Warrington, Halton and St Helens @samaritans.bsky.social today for the tri-borough trek - to mark Samaritans Awareness Day, and the fact that the branch support three Boroughs - Warrington, Halton and St Helens! To donate visit: samaritanscommunity.enthuse.com/pf/whsh-sama...
Obsessed with Erling Haaland's taxidermy raccoon holding a bottle of Warrington's own Greenall's gin he brought back from Texas (h/t @warringtonguardian.bsky.social) Fun fact: we make a fifth of the world's gin in Warrington North! www.warringtonguardian.co.uk/news/2628270...
Today is Rugby League Shirt Day! It’s been great to see so many people getting involved on social media, helping to spread awareness and raise money for Rugby League Cares. If you can also spare a quid or two, you can donate at JustGiving - www.justgiving.com/page/rugby-l... #RLSD26 #RugbyLeague
My Chemical Romance at Wembley tonight with my best mate was a solid 9.9/10, could only be improved by being in Warrington, Gerard Way addressing the crowd with "good evening Manchester" and someone shouting back "we've got an IKEA!!!"(if you know, you know) 💃
It was good to be on the Politics Live sofa this morning discussing Nigel Farage's resignation, why it's so difficult to build infrastructure in the UK, online disinformation and some of the rest of the day's news. Catch up with the full discussion on iPlayer here: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/epis...
Don't know if it's just tired delirium from staying up to watch the England game last night, but I can't stop laughing at this photo and caption from The Times' coverage of the match
A devolution revolution is coming, overseen by No 10 North which will be the “nerve centre of a rewired Britain". Exciting to hear Andy Burnham set out an inspiring vision for the country this morning at the iconic People's History Museum. Now let's make it a reality.
Wishing a Happy Father's Day to all the dads in Warrington, and of course to my dad! Sending love to anyone finding today difficult whether because of bereavement, estrangement or for any other reason - I hope you will find some peace and joy in your day too ❤️
A lovely afternoon volunteering behind the bar at Winwick Beer Festival, where I was doing a roaring trade in the Hush Brewing Co pale I sponsored, having a bit of a boogie to the live music with Cllr Mann between pours, and enjoying a post-shift and natter with constituents about current events 🍻
Polling Day scenes from Makerfield, and the most consequential by-election in British history. Keeping everything crossed for a resounding Andy Burnham win, with just a few hours left until polls close 🌹🗳️🤞

It was lovely to visit the St Andrews Church Charity Shop on Poplars Avenue this morning, and to chat to Rev Philippa Shaw and members of the community about Pride in Place and the £20m of investment coming to Hulme to be spent on local residents' priorities.
Apologies to my haters but, as I said all along - and despite the speculation and reporting to the contrary - not me 😇
I was booked on Cross Question weeks ago and would rather have been talking about anything else, but we are where we are. In sadness, rather than in anger, and despite repeated attempts over the last year to give him more time and the benefit of the doubt, I no longer have confidence in Keir Starmer
It was wonderful to join Fantastic Fox Wood and friends to officially open the Sensational Space - a fully accessible playground for Fox Wood pupils and the wider SEND community in Warrington 🌞 Thank you to ITV for coming down too, you can see their piece here: www.itv.com/watch/news/s...
London Marathon? Completed it mate! Picked up an injury at Mile 22 so did the last few miles limping and crying - if I ever decide I'm doing this again please get me sectioned. Thankfully though it was for a very worthy cause and not a PB! warringtonwolvesfoundation.enthuse.com/cf/charlotte... 🐺
Picked up my race pack for the London Marathon on Sunday and it's all feeling very real now! 😬 Just a few days to go and I'm *so close* to my fundraising target supporting the Warrington Wolves Foundation - can you help me get over the line? warringtonwolvesfoundation.enthuse.com/cf/charlotte...
It was wonderful to join Guru Nanak Gurdwara, Cllrs Balbir and Kuldeep Dhillon, and @danpricelab.bsky.social to mark Vaisakhi today with our local Sikh community remembering the creation of the Khalsa and celebrating the values it was founded on. Vaisakhi di lakh lakh vidai 🪯✨
One week until the London Marathon, and my very last run until the big day done with a nice potter around Bates Farm! I'm fundraising for the Warrington Wolves Foundation, to support initiatives for mental health, SEND and elderly residents 👇 warringtonwolvesfoundation.enthuse.com/cf/charlotte...
The Sunday Morning Run Club, or Farm Run as I like to call it, is back at Bates Farm! A lovely trail 5K round the beautifully scenic farm fields, said hello to all the cute animals, and got a sensationally good Biscoff bun the size of my head from Uproot Coffee at the end this morning 🐖🚜🌾🐑💕
If you follow me and I'm *not* your MP, ask your MP to sign up to support NC2 in the Courts and Tribunals Bill. You can find your MP and their contact details here: members.parliament.uk/FindYourMP
18 miles in the bag today as part of my London Marathon training raising vital funds for the Warrington Wolves Foundation. Just over two weeks to go now and I'm edging closer to my fundraising goal, if you can chip in I'll love you forever 🐺 warringtonwolvesfoundation.enthuse.com/cf/charlotte...
I love the photos of the old Warrington Corporation Tramways trams. Still holding out hope for a Metrolink extension out our way in the future! 🚋
