Got in from my very rainy 3 hours 30 min ride with efforts to catch the last 8km of the TdF, WOW. Well that was just !!??

Medical Update: after my crash at Scheldeprijs 1.Pro yesterday I have sustained both a concussion and whiplash. Luckily there's no damage to my skull nor any brain bleeds. I'd hate to think how much worse this outcome would've been without my amazing Abus helmet!

In the end I found a battery so very happily I could start, but also found the floor after the cars slammed on in a super wet corner, I had nowhere to go so just slid along the road / stream. Off to hospital for X-rays. The bad luck continues... 😅

I’ll be racing National Criterium Championships tomorrow in Aberystwyth! Plus a little life update…

I was pretty stoked to end up on the podium at @via_atelier.cc crit last week after entering very last minute off of the back of a big block, even won a pair of @oakleybike !

The last time I raced a crit was two years ago and I ended up in hospital needing x-rays and sustaining a concussion due to the huge pile up at 2023 British Crit Champs...

The whole of 2025 so far has been rewriting the plan: hence l've been focused on other things in between getting caught up in crashes on the road

The massively backlogged immigration process has really messed up my season and life plans. I literally have a home: I just can't legally live there right now! No doubt it's caused a huge amount of instability to my life and added stress to an already stressful situation. It really feels like l've never been afforded that clear run I so desperately need to finally flourish

But you know me; get knocked down 9, get up 10. You gotta roll with the punches in this life and it feels like I'm starting to get my rhythm back despite of it all.

Thanks to everyone who's been there for me recently. It's been an unbelievably tough period and you guys have helped keep me afloat and positive

Felt sad because I just dropped Magnus off at the station to go back to Oslo, but then he sent me this message and it melted my heart. THIS is what cycling is about: the community and shared passion 🫶🏻
