He/Him, 34 Lapsed writer, TTRPG-er, taker of naps, maker of things. Views are my own and do not reflect the views of Turner South and the Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. (But they'd agree with me if they were based.)
Cast yourself as a villain. (Everyone else was picking cool villains. I would not be a cool villain.)

Please enjoy Charlotte sticking her face directly in the sprinkler then dragging herself back and forth along the brick to dry off.
Ten years ago, the BBC had a celebration of TV sitcoms including some revivals and remakes. One of them was a one-off "Are You Being Served?" revival. HBO Harry Potter has the same energy. Like, I wasn't going to watch anyway, but also it looks bad.
Not bad on hard mode either! Now I'm interested in what correlations exist among people who performed well. Obviously, there's self-selection happening in who attempts hard mode. Do folks who can name more colors perform better? Did other folks do better at matching colors in their favorite range?
Passing grade! Neat to see the accuracy curve through different folks' results.
Can't stay up for Critical Role. Gotta go to bed so I can get up and eat my oats. I'm an overnight oats guy now. Big into the oats. Things are gonna be different now that I have oats in the fridge overnight. Yeah. Oats. (I'm saving the Cookies & Cream for later. Tomorrow's oats are mocha-flavored.)
I had to go find Roger Ebert's 5-star review for "(500) Days of Summer." "Good for them."
Alas, our on-air CD players are newer than I realized. As far as I can tell we've never thrown anything away so there may be older models back in the engineer's workshop. We still have a working reel-to-reel in our production room.
I want you at home to know my hand is touching your hand for the gathering of the biggest body of people in this country, in this universe, all over the world now, reaching out.
I'm committed to doing what I can to avoid another Republican president (though that's many battles down the road). The first part of my plan is to not have a bozo that looks like Dennis Hopper in the '90s Mario movie as the Dem candidate.
Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨
TCG Pocket is fun for me right now because every other match I'm up against a Suicune deck with full art cards and shiny Greninja and such, and I just have this silly yellow bird. This is how Pegasus felt sending people to the Shadow Realm with his toon deck. Children's card games are fun.
Post a movie you like with a terrible rotten tomatoes score. Super Mario Bros. (1993) I will not be taking any questions at this time. Thank you.
Would you believe I already had this? . . . I just remembered I have a Cracker Barrel gift card in my wallet.
We're in a convention center (not for a con) playing this weird card game called "You're Getting Old." After 99 cards about avocado toast, TikTok dances, and appropriated zoomer slang, we get this:
Cleaned up my email inbox for the first time in seven years. Everything is marked read now. Less than 550 items in the inbox (most of those Kickstarter updates where I just need to make sure I downloaded any digital goodies.) I'm about to click this button.
Couple years back I ran a D&D game for just two players. Made a robot DMPC to make encounter balance a little easier. His name is Heavy Metal, and he now looks rad.
You can tell I'm doing game prep because my TTRPG shelves are basically empty, and there's a stack of books by every place I sit in the house plus a few in my work bag. Also the tabs. There's a lot of tabs open. So many tabs. I'm gonna stop Hero Forge procrastinating for a bit and write notes.
Yeah... Yeah... I think this checks out. openpsychometrics.org/tests/charac...
Now look, I don't like Joel Osteen either, but the Catholic Church is not getting off the hook just because Francis slept in a twin bed.
Let's be real, there's a non-zero chance that Trump thinks he's putting tariffs on these guys.
