This time of year, when the wind is right, all of the Europe- and Middle East-bound planes fly over our house. I like to sit on the patio and wave at them. Well not really. But I do wonder who’s on board and wonder at the fact they will be on the other side of the world in nine or 12 hours.

The stock markets have been smoking crack today, and my retirement account is happy about that. But geez, wake the fuck up, Wall Street. Things are not looking up.
No Kings protest and march in Seattle on Saturday, where en estimated 90,000 turned out.
A big problem with LGA is that it has only two runways. But effectively it only has one, because they are offset 90 degrees to accommodate different wind directions. So when the active runway is closed, there is no alternative for takeoffs and landings.
If Trump has completely fabricated the existence of talks with Iran and progress on specific points, Wall Street has mostly fallen for it, though the markets are down a bit since Iran denied any of that was true.
Now you know what to do — and you know exactly what words to use — when Trump dies.
So I guess the stock market has finally figured out how fucked things are.
