just a person who spends too much money on manga. Current count: 1400+ volumes
Gabriel Dropout: I have been reading this on and off for a year or two, and finally caught up with the physical release. I like having series' like this around for when I want to read something lighthearted and fun. Satania is the best!
Renjoh Desperado vol 1: it was delayed for so long that I completely forgot what it was even about. An action packed series about a lone woman wandering a wild west inspired japan looking for love with a similar vibe to the Kindergarten Wars MC. Art is awesome but the action can be hard to follow.
This week's manga haul. After all of the delays, Renjoh Desperado is finally here!
This joke from today's Chainsmoker Cat episode was much better in the manga, imo
Magical Sisters LuluttoLilly s1: I had forgotten I still had an episode left. Its certainly not groundbreaking, but the art and animation look nice, and the story about two sisters trying to reconcile their relationship is pretty sweet and endearing. I will be there for the 2nd season in October.
I was treated to a late birthday dinner tonight, and this might have been the best sushi roll I've ever had. It was incredible
I bought this Turkish doumbek drum with a busted drum skin yesterday at the flea market. I assumed I would be able to find a new drum skin for it, and I planned on giving it to my dad for his birthday. Turns out, it is impossible to find one in this size, so I may never actually find one that fits ☹️
First shelves are up in the new manga room. I plan to add six more shelves to this wall soon. This was how much overdue I was for more shelf space. Everything pictured here was basically stacked wherever I could find space until I figured out what I wanted to do. More pics soon
Sheer curiosity led me to buying 2 packs of 30 year old McDonald's cards.
The seller doesn't know what this is, but it's an autoclave commonly used at tattoo shops. $24 is a steal, if it works they usually go for around $1500-$3000
The Credits Roll Into the Sea vol 1: it didn't quite move me as much as BL Metamorphosis vol 1, but it was still very good and I imagine I will come to love it the more I read. I really like it, but it was delayed for so long that I probably developed unrealistically high expectations.
