It’s not always easy to find a suitable venue for it, and for this I’d like to thank the entire Paratissima team and curator Alessandra Villa, the other artists there, as well as the more than three hundred people who visited the exhibition at the Quartiere, Saluzzo over the past two weeks.

Every second corresponds to day, and over the course of its three-hour duration, It spans the years from 1993 to 2025. By moving away from the written form, data becomes an immersive experience, detached from the rhetoric constantly associated with the topic of migration.

You can catch it this Friday at Mercurio APS, for Fuorisalone 2026: doors open at 5:30 PM; starting at 6:30 PM, I’ll play a short live set accompanying a roughly half-hour iteration.

Piano strings, guitars played with a bow, steam whistles, bells, and field recordings: many different materials have found a place in this composition that winds back on itself, never returning to its starting point.

I built the soundscape that accompanies ACUFONIA, drawing inspiration from the materials and structures that make it up. Fourteen loops of varying nature chase one another over half an hour, creating interlocks, overlaps, and ever-changing paths. #experimentalelectronic #soundart
