A friend has gotten chastised for referring to himself and his friends as “faggot(s)*. He posted a great defense and I DM’d him these slides I saved from a NYC boy. I don’t necessarily agree with everything he wrote here but the sentiment is perfect. It very much relates to the “gay not queer” gays.

I met my gay dads , Dick & AL, when I was young. Dick often said when he died he wanted to be cremated, mixed with clay and turned into a pot to grow yellow coreopsis. He passed about 16 years ago and Al fulfilled his wishes. I can’t keep a plant alive so he sits in front of my sling to see the fun
