I'm still unpacking and sorting Mom's treasures, and I came across this lovely collection of porcelain teacups. There isn't a pair in the lot, and a couple of mismatches, so I wonder if these are from her bridal shower or similar party? I've already got a couple of favourites.

Two generations of cubes! Left: At least 12 years ago, I stole the idea of adding Dungeonmorph stickers to a Rubik's cube for a fun home desk fidget/prop. Right: A gorgeous etched plastic puzzle cube from Evermorph Studios. No stickers! Slick clicks & transformations! This is going to the office.
Back to the office means regular lunchtime reading which means finishing great books like this! (Interesting to read that this planned trilogy was shortened to a duology because the real world was stranger/more awful than the fiction.)
