Always a sucker of weird Godzilla merch so seeing a Godzilla/Hello Kitty McDonald's collab in the US is pretty damn weird.

Happy 60th anniversary to my absolute favorite non-Godzilla Showa era Toho Kaiju film! This film is so integral to my love of the franchise and has influenced all my creative endeavors in some way!

It is beyond tragic hearing the news of Kaylee Hottle's passing. Her performance as Jia really elevated those films and a stellar example of dead representation in film. Rest in peace, gone too soon.

Hope down the road if Godzilla DAMM Remaster's is a success we get a Godzilla classic game collection like we did get for Jurassic Park and Ninja Turtles.
Two theories about Showa Mechagodzilla being in GDAMM Remaster: 1. There will be alternate skins for the playable Kaiju. 2. Either Pipeworks and/or Toho decided to swap Heisei Mechagodzilla with Showa as his moveset and role is more akin to 74/75 MG.
I think they're great! Though I am mad the Poke bros and Lego scalpers are gonna clear house! Especially my boys Mewtwo and Garchomp (and Umbreon is there too)!

A Japanese Godzilla film set in the late 40s America has a lot of tantalizing story potential and implications. Thematically and narratively there is so much to pull and confront! The monster meets his true makers/tormentors! I am so hyped for this!
Honestly one of my favorite goodies I got from Megacon! Makes me appreciate the 2014 design a lot more and in a way also reps the 1954 Goji from Monarch Season 1!
