Squad got all gussied up for some new family pictures earlier this week. I’m easily one of the luckiest people alive.
Marlowe is in the glider chair with me, so before putting her in the actual Snoo, I decided to try my own homemade version. It worked.
I won’t have played my own ball on a golf course in 7 weeks by the time of this event. I won’t have swung a club in approximately the same time frame. I’m sure it’ll be fine.
Uncle @seangentille.bsky.social came to meet Marlowe today. They got along famously.
For reasons not entirely clear to me, Ace wanted Lennox to “draw me on the ground,” which was his way of asking to have a chalk outline done. That alone was funny enough to me. Lennox’s attempt to do eyebrows, eyes and a mouth had me in hysterics when I saw it.
Happy Father’s Day, folks. I will eschew my usual Ralph Kiner reference in favor of marveling that this wonderful little surprise is really here, and that she’s so fortunate to have two great big brothers and the best mom around. I hope everyone has a terrific day.
A little disappointed that Marlowe slept right through The Hunt For Red October. Not impressed by Marko Ramius’ combat tactics at all. And I had even arranged a 3am showing so she could really appreciate it.
She’s here 🩷🩷 Finally, there’s a girl in the Mueller mix. Marlowe McCoy Mueller arrived at 11:06am on 6/11. 7lbs 4oz. She and Alex (who was a rockstar, per usual) are both doing great. And her two big brothers couldn’t be more excited to have a little sister.
T-minus two days until Baby M arrives. Got all the important stuff ready. A bag for the hospital, all the changing tables prepped and ready, car seat bases in…and of course, in preparation for being awake at all hours, I have my entertainment lined up:
Ten years ago, these two crazy kids got hitched. Now we have two crazy actual kids, and a third set to arrive in two weeks. Time flies! Love you Big Al 💜💜💜
Happy 7th birthday to the Good and Nice Boy Larry, who is in fact the Best Boy (not the Key Grip or Gaffer). If there’s a more patient, friendlier dog, I’ve yet to meet him.

The leader of our 93.7 The Fan YouTube Lunatic Fringe, Johnny The Barber, informed me that I should expect a package that was Will Howard and “Barber Football Focus”-themed. Naturally I felt it appropriate to open it on air. Was very surprised by what I found.
