Are you sure it was me? Does this look like the face of someone who would own a Rom helmet?
Not only am I to blame for those covers, the corner box art was a photo of my old ROM toy (with a little digital enhancing of the eyes). I should report that he's been properly chromed since this pic was taken, though.

The perfect time to release those sentient plasma entities would be during screenings of Disclosure Day this weekend...
Just checked into a hotel in West LA and bumped into this guy in the elevator. I told him that I was voting for him… to push the button for the 9th floor. Otherwise, I’m still undecided.
If I was around then, I would've considered the Avengers and FF but likely picked up Spider-Man. However, knowing what I know now, the correct answer is Journey Into Mystery. That story ruled.
In today's newsletter: Dread-ing Hall H once again, Monsters, Vampires and Magneto re-collections, an advance look at June's X-Men Elsewhen Volume 1, and a spinner rack caught in the crosshairs chrisryall.substack.com/p/tales-of-s...
Happy birthday to dear Francis Coppola, whose positivity, creativity, and humanism deserves a day of celebration and not a day clouded by ludicrous threats from someone who's lacking in all three of those things.
Hey, thank you! It's this coming week but I treated myself to an early present at WonderCon this weekend in the form of this UK edition of your first issue. I love the "Marvel All-Colour Comics" band across the top.
We lost comic artist Sal Buscema over the weekend, and despite him being a mightily accomplished 89 at the time of his passing -- he would have turned 90 today -- I'm crushed that we lost him. However, I love that his decades of great work fills my bookshelves and spinner rack, and it always will.
Congrats to talented pals @marcandreyko.bsky.social & @brianmbendis.bsky.social for the amazing team assembled to bring Torso to life! I know it's been a long time coming but this feels like the perfect team to do justice to he graphic novel. www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie...
What actor’s facial expression in a movie will stay with you for the rest of your life?
"This week’s Top Comics to Buy for December 3 sees a holiday comic make its first appearance in these picks this year (so far), and that comic is Dread the Halls, a horror anthology now in its second year and just getting better." - The Beat
Advance copies of Dread the Halls 2025 arrived today! All will be available at our Dec. 3 signing at Golden Apple Comics and Dec. 6 at Knowhere Games & Comics (where we'll also be joined by Keithan Jones, artist on one of my stories in this issue).
Nice to see all three of @bloomsburyacad.bsky.social's new Marvel Age of Comics books in the top 4 here.
Hey, nicely done! I think I carved mine too soon since it already looks more like this cover.
Before and during Joe Hill’s King Sorrow tour tonight in San Diego. The tour started last week but the book is officially on sale today!
San Diego folks: this Friday, Oct. 17, on your way to dinner or a showing of The Black Phone 2, why not start your night by coming to grab a signed copy of the Megalopolis graphic novel first? I'll be at the Mira Mesa Barnes & Noble from 5-7pm.
I was happy to accept on John Byrne's behalf the Harvey Awards Hall of Fame honor this past weekend at NYCC, and even better was presenting the award to him in person at his home the next day.
