What if corporations had the same sort of duty towards their employees as they do towards their shareholders? No bonuses for CEOs if they sack hundreds of people or if workers need welfare to survive. Make corporations responsible for failing workers just like they are for failing investors.

In my Australian kitchen, "the grill" is a hot plate attached to the roof of the oven. When I want 'cheese on toast', I make toast, butter it, top it with cheese and melt it under the grill. Just like my mother did. Is this not the universal way to make a melty cheese and bread snack?

A photo from the internet of exactly what my cheese on toast looks like after I've finished cooking it. This is the world wide best way to make a melty cheese and bread snack, in my personal opinion. Photo shows two slices of toast cut in half, topped with very melted cheese which has slightly browned after being cooked under the grill, which is a hotplate at the top of the oven in most Australian homes.

I understand that art is subjective, but I do NOT understand the ways this piece of art is being memed:

This is a painting called "Freedom of Speech" by Norman Rockwell, which depicts a scene of a 1942 Arlington (USA) town meeting in which a lone dissenter to the town budget is given the floor and speaks without fear or hindrance. Wikipedia says: "The blue-collar speaker wears a plaid shirt and suede jacket, with dirty hands and a darker complexion than others in attendance ... other attendees are wearing white shirts, ties and jackets. One of the men in the painting is holding a document that reveals a subject of the meeting as 'a discussion of the town's annual report'. The speaker's youth and workmanlike hands are fashioned with a worn and stained jacket, while the other attendees appear to be older and more neatly and formally dressed." A piece of paper, perhaps the Minutes, poke out from the speaker's pocket, and audience members listen attentively, turning their faces towards him. The painting if one of a set of four Rockwell painted titled "The Four Freedoms", which were based on President Franklin D. Roosevelt's 1941 State of the Union address.

Wondered what all the fuss was about, here they just make cheese:
