I loved Villager and have my own copy of it and other of your books, and now they are joined by - drum roll - all the way across the world from the UK, I present (with thanks to Tom and Blackwells) …
What if corporations had the same sort of duty towards their employees as they do towards their shareholders? No bonuses for CEOs if they sack hundreds of people or if workers need welfare to survive. Make corporations responsible for failing workers just like they are for failing investors.
In my Australian kitchen, "the grill" is a hot plate attached to the roof of the oven. When I want 'cheese on toast', I make toast, butter it, top it with cheese and melt it under the grill. Just like my mother did. Is this not the universal way to make a melty cheese and bread snack?
I understand that art is subjective, but I do NOT understand the ways this piece of art is being memed:
Not just the Us and the UK, although their politicians convinced the rest of them I reckon:
I love that idea! We can all have fun with our hair, facial or otherwise! As a cat lover these are some of my favourite moustaches:

He posted this yesterday, apparently it references the actions of Korean shop owners who used rubber bullets to snipe at protestors from the tops of buildings on a past occasion:
What a beautiful and thoughtful image - love it and thank you for sharing! ❤️Tried to access itat the web.archive page and got this (I am aware there is probably nothing you can do, but just wanted to share awareness):
Whether you like the Greens enough to vote for them, or not, their leadership team is pretty impressive! LOTS of experience and passion, they'll be good in the vital role of holding government to account:
Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade 2025 is over, although the parties carry on! A swirl of colour, sound, warmth, fun and politics! What a vibe! Cheering crowds lined the Parade route 3 deep to the very end! Just a lovely thing to be part of! A random pic from the marshalling area:
This is the Guardian's headline - but not the reason Sheargold departed - that was because he said - on air - he'd rather hammer a nail into the head of his penis than watch women's sport, and some equally nasty stuff. Why's the @theguardian.com distorting this issue?
