turkey reaping, a tactic where a hunter uses a turkey fan or decoy as cover while moving toward a bird. Wisconsin DNR says the tactic is legal, but also warns hunters not to use it on public land or in the woods because of the safety risk.

Let this coin forever be known as Trump the Knuckledragger.

The approved design of a 24 karat gold piece allegedly commemoratin the US's 250th "birthday" but is in fact yet another vanity project of Trump's to put himself on a "historic" coin and make his pathetic ass "immortal." The coin says "Liberty" at the top, "in god we trust at the bottom," has the dates 1776-2026 beneath the word "Liberty" and has 6 stars on the left and 7 stars on the right (get it? 13 original colonies? brilliant). A scowling Trump looks like a knuckledragger, literally, in the middle of it all. A fucking knuckledragger! Again, brilliant move, assholes.

Caller reported that in 1987 a friend (Victim 1) was out drinking and ended up
at Trump Plaza. Victim 1 saw Donald Trump and wanted to meet him. A
unknown man approached her and offered to introduce her to Trump. The
unknown man gave Victim 1 a drink and Victim 1 woke up naked and sore with
$300 on the bed. Victim 1 didn't remember how she got to the room. She
remembered seeing 'a flash' of Trump's face. Victim 1 called the Caller and
told her she thought she had been raped. Victim 1 did not go to a hospital to
have a rape kit performed because she didn't think anyone would believe her
especially because she was drunk. Victim Vs husband's business had
problems with suppliers and Victim 1 believed Trump was behind it. Victim 1
also started dating a lawyer, identifier's unknown, who was married. Victim 1
had a fight with her lawyer boyfriend and went to a bar. Victim 1 left a bar with
a man who no one in the bar recognized but who seemed familiar with Victim
1. Victim 1 was never seen again. A few years ago, remains were discovered
that matched the description of what Victim 1 was wearing when she went
missing. DNA tests at the time were inconclusive.

In the last four months alone, immigration officers have fired on at least nine people in five states and Washington, D.C. All of the individuals targeted in those shootings were, like the woman killed on Wednesday, fired on while in their vehicles. In each case, officials have claimed that the agents fired in self-defense, fearing they would be struck by the vehicle.
At least one other person died as a result of those shootings.
In September, immigration officers pulled over a man driving a Subaru on a busy street outside of Chicago. The man, a Mexican immigrant named Silverio Villegas-Gonzalez, was shot and killed less than a minute later. Homeland security officials said that Mr. Villegas-Gonzalez had hit and dragged one of the officers with his car and that the officer who shot him was acting in self-defense. But a Times analysis of video calls into question key aspects of the government's account.

We also know that in the early morning hours of December 14, FBI agents raided a motel not far from Brown and detained a person that FBI Director Kash Patel soon identified, with a post on his personal X account, as a prime "person of interest." The impression was clear: Rhode Island residents could breathe a little easier.
Whether residents did so or not, the FBI's law enforcement partners seemed ready to believe that the legendary Bureau had its man. The pressure eased.

It was not true. The motel suspect was quickly cleared and released, never having been charged. Patel's intrusive announcement, by any measure, was premature. It very likely gave the actual shooter the reassurance he needed to lie in wait and make his escape to the scene of his next murder. The director of the FBI had made a crucial mistake.
