The beautiful grasses in the meadows are thick and deep, some up to my waist. In 30+ years I've never seen them like this as there are usually cattle and sheep to crop them. Not this year. Just a few dozen sheep. #grasses

I was going hillwalking in the area of the Cairngorms where a huge fire is burning. I saw the smoke and instead went up Craigellachie above Aviemore where I took these photos. I fear the damage will be great. #Cairngorms
