I wish this dumb fucker would stop saying this. A Chinese company builds a widget and charges $50 for the widget, and then the USA puts a 10% tariff on the widget, guess what? The Chinese company still gets $50 for the widget, but the company buying the widget pays $55 to get it into the USA.
