I took the jacket off this book and somehow didn't look too closely at the title page and all along I've been thinking "Wow, how did she get these quotes? This would all be so over-the-top if it was fiction! Unreal!" I literally tried googling the family in the story before I realized it's a novel.

My recollection of In the Woods is that it features two mysteries for the price of one--and then, at the end, neither is solved in any interesting way. I've never read another Tana French book. Liz Moore is the anti-Tana French. This book is terrific.
